For Uwe Zimmermanns movie about the art of animal tracking, I was asked to provide a couple of shots from my library. A shot of a wild hare and a deer ended up making the cut!

Ten lucky people had the chance to participate at the wadden sea film camp, organized by the Green Screen International Nature Film Festival in 2025. I was was one of them and I am very grateful for the opportunity to get first-hand advice from our three award winning guides Martina Andrés and Manuel Spescha from Eyes on Wildlife and Thies Hinrichsen. I did not only learn a ton about wildlife filmmaking, but I also made a bunch of friends along the way!

The movie is about the hardships of the inhabitants of the wadden sea and how they overcome them. It also tells about the dangers introduced by humans and how every one of us can partake in sustaining this fragile ecosystem.

We planned, filmed, edited and premiered this impactful short story about the wadden sea in only one week! Afterwards I remastered the colorgrading and did some minor tweeks so that it is ready to be screened only two weeks later at the prestigious Green Screen Festival in Eckernförde.
